Keep the calls you already paid for

Missed-Call Text-Back: reply to every caller you could not answer

You are on a roof, under a sink or in a crawl space, and the phone rings. Callers who reach voicemail often try the next company on the list. Missed-call text-back sends them a short text within a minute, so the conversation starts before they dial someone else.

  • Included in Growth and Authority; $50 a month on Monthly care
  • Free audit first
  • Month-to-month. 90-day call guarantee. No lock-in.
  • Texts only people who called you

Why a missed call is a lost job

Every other service we offer brings more calls. This one protects the calls you already get. Search brings the homeowner to your number, and if nobody answers, the money spent getting that call is gone.

A homeowner with a burst pipe or a dead AC does not leave a voicemail and wait. They call the next name in the results. A fast text that says you saw the call and asks what they need keeps you in the running.

It also fits how contractors work. Your techs cannot answer while they are on a job, and your office closes at five. The text covers both gaps.

Where calls get missed

  • On the job. Techs and owners cannot answer mid-repair
  • After hours. Evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Busy lines. Two calls at once, one waits
  • Seasonal peaks. The first heat wave or freeze fills the phones

How we keep it honest

A text-back is a reply to someone who just called you, not a marketing blast. We set it up that way and keep it that way.

Business texting also has carrier rules, including registration of the number you send from. We handle that during setup so your messages are delivered.

What the system does and does not do

  • Replies only to callers. It never texts a list of old customers or purchased numbers
  • Opt-out wording. Every text tells the person how to stop messages
  • Short and plain. It says who you are and asks what they need, in your voice
  • A person takes over. Once the caller answers, you or your office reply
  • No fake urgency. No tricks to push the caller into booking

What we set up

The goal is a text that sounds like your company and reaches the caller while they are still deciding.

What is included

  • The text itself. Wording for after-hours calls and for calls missed during the day, in your voice
  • Your tracking number. The text-back runs on the number on your Google Business Profile and website
  • Business hours and holidays. Different messages for different times
  • Alerts to you. A text or email to the owner or office when a caller replies
  • Number registration. The carrier registration needed so your texts are delivered
  • Opt-out handling. Anyone who asks to stop is not texted again
  • A short guide for your office. What to say when a caller replies, and how fast

How the work runs

Setup starts when you sign and is quick. Most of the work is agreeing on the wording and who answers replies.

Four steps

  1. Agree. We decide your hours, your message and who gets the alert when a caller replies.
  2. Set up. We connect the text-back to your tracking number and register it with the carriers.
  3. Test. We call the line, miss the call on purpose and read the text that arrives, on a real phone.
  4. Review. Each month we look at how many callers replied, how fast your office answered and what to change.

How you can see it working

A missed-call text should be judged on how many conversations it saves. We count them.

What we report

  • Missed calls each month
  • Texts sent and how many callers replied
  • How fast your office answered each reply
  • Jobs booked that began as a text reply, where you tell us the result
  • Calls from Google search and Maps over the same months

Questions about Missed-Call Text-Back

What is missed-call text-back?

When a call to your business number goes unanswered, the caller automatically gets a short text from your company. It says you saw their call and asks what they need, so the conversation can start before they call someone else.

Does the text go to anyone who calls?

It goes to people who called your tracking number and did not reach a person. We do not text old customer lists or purchased numbers, and every message tells the person how to opt out.

Is it spam?

A reply to someone who just phoned you is a different thing from a marketing blast, and we keep it that way. Texting rules and carrier requirements apply to business messages, so we register your number with the carriers and include opt-out wording. We are not a law firm, so ask your own advisor if you have questions about your state's rules.

Who answers when the caller replies?

You or your office. We alert the person you choose and give your team a short guide on what to say. We do not reply to your customers for you.

How much does it cost?

It is included in Growth and Authority. On Monthly care you can add it for $50 a month. It is not available with the one-time Fix-it package.

Does it count toward the 90-day call guarantee?

The guarantee counts tracked calls from Google search and Maps, as described in our terms. Text replies are reported to you but are not counted as calls for the guarantee.

Will it work with my phone system?

It depends on how your calls are routed. We check your setup before we start and tell you plainly if your current system cannot support it.
